Quick answers

Three questions land in our inbox almost every day — yours might already be answered here.

Do you take cats from outside Cook County?

Sometimes, case by case — it depends on space, the cat's needs, and where our foster homes have room. Please call first so we can talk it through before you make the drive.

Can I visit the cats?

Yes — we love visitors. Just call ahead so a volunteer can meet you, and plan for weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). We're closed Saturdays and Sundays.

I found kittens — what now?

Don't separate them from mom too fast — she may just be out hunting, and kittens do best with her. Watch from a distance first, then call or message us right away and we'll walk you through it.
