Feral & Barn Shelter
Safe, weatherproof shelter for colony cats who can't return to where they were trapped — plus barn and working-cat placements for cats who prefer a job to a lap.
TNR
TNR & Clinic Transport
Humane trapping and monthly rides to low-cost clinics with Valdosta Humane Society. Cats come home ear-tipped and vaccinated — and we loan traps free.

Spay/Neuter Vouchers
Low-cost vouchers help Cook County pet owners fix their cats and dogs instead of surrendering them — funded by a Georgia Dept. of Agriculture grant.

Pet Food Pantry
Free cat food for families going through a hard stretch, hosted at Adel Wesleyan Church. Nobody should have to give up a cat because of an empty bag.

Kitten Foster & Adoption
Bottle babies are raised in foster homes, socialized around people and pets, and adopted out vaccinated and already spayed or neutered.
How to apply
Getting a spay/neuter voucher
If you live in Cook County and your pet needs to be fixed, call us at (229) 896-7492 or email [email protected]. Vouchers cover most of the surgery cost at participating local vets, thanks to a spay/neuter grant from the Georgia Department of Agriculture. One note: vouchers are for owned pets only — they don't cover feral cats. For ferals, see our TNR program above instead.

Program FAQs
Can I surrender my cat to the sanctuary?
Please call us first — space at the sanctuary is limited, and seniors and special-needs cats take priority. Even when we're full, we'll always help you find options, so don't hesitate to reach out.
Who qualifies for vouchers?
Cook County residents with pet cats or dogs. The vouchers are for owned pets, not feral colonies — feral cats are covered free through our TNR program instead.
There's a feral cat on my property — what do I do?
Message us on Facebook or call (229) 896-7492. We'll loan you a humane trap for free and add your cat to the next clinic transport, then return it ear-tipped and vaccinated.
Can I adopt a sanctuary senior?
Some of our seniors are adoptable to quiet, patient homes — ask us who's looking. Many are lifetime residents, though, and monthly sponsorship helps either way: food, meds, and vet visits for one old cat.
Do you take dogs?
We're a cat-focused rescue, so we don't shelter dogs — but our spay/neuter vouchers do cover dogs, and we're happy to refer you to local dog rescues we trust.
